Storyline of Mechanic Rocky
The film plot begins where Rocky (Vishwak) and his father (Naresh) are shown as the owners of a driving school; and Rocky is a trained mechanic.
As the movie progresses, a neighboring don (Sunil) tries to attack Rocky. The main motive is to seize Rocky’s land.
Rocky asks the don to give him a little time to save his driving school. He needs 40 lakhs to fulfill the don’s demand. Meanwhile, Rocky’s father passes away.
Surprisingly, at this point in time Rocky learns that his father had an insurance policy worth 2 crore rupees.
But wait! The twist starts now. When Rocky approaches the bank’s executive Maya (Shraddha Srinath), he learns that he is not the nominee as per his father’s will.
So, now who is the new character in the plot of the story? Why Rocky’s father didn’t mention his son’s name in the will?
Will Rocky be able to save his driving school? Well for that, you’ll have to watch this thriller drama.
Gripping highlights of the movie
Everyone knows that Vishwak Sen likes to choose gripping stories. It looks like he has made a good decision by choosing Mechanic Rocky.
The subsequent half of the movie is more engaging as compared to the first half.
If you are planning to watch this film then it will surely keep you hooked till the very end.
The cast of the movie is quite solid. Be it Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vishwak Sen, or Shraddha Srinath, everyone has impressed the audiences with their acting talent.
Even Raghu (Known for MTV Roadies) gave a worth-watching performance as a bad cop.
Boring part in movie
One of the chief drawbacks of Mechanic Rocky is its runtime in total. The entire duration of the movie is about 156 minutes.
If the editors had made it a little shorter, then the plot of the movie would have appeared more appealing.
The first half of the movie is not something that will keep you hooked to your seats.
It basically starts on a dull note. Many times, the comedy scenes seem to lack the required energy and freshness.
Even the flashback part of the story is narrated in a dreary manner.
Positive to note
The background score of Mechanic Rocky is pretty fascinating. One can surely say that Jakes Bejoy has done a really good job with the music part of the film.
The songs are fine but they could have been improved.
Talking about the drone shots, cinematography, dialogues, and other details, everything seems to be well coordinated.
Final words about Mechanic Rocky
Overall, Mechanic Rocky is a pretty decent thriller movie. Don’t expect much from the first half.
It might feel a little boring in the starting. But the second half is gripping as well as full of various twists.
So, if you are looking for a film that can lift your mood this weekend then Vishwak Sen’s Mechanic Rocky is worth giving your time to.
I saw the movie evening, Vishwak Sen done good performance and nice screeplay but little lag in screen time, thats too long.
